Code of Conduct

  1. Dealings
    • Facilitate other party actual facts and figures
    • Do not bypass middleman, especially of he/she has been your introducing/facilitating party.
    • Do not change (increase) asking price/rent of a property on a client to gain more profit.
    • Fairly compensate facilitating party with declared, agreed and/or promised fee.
    • Document each and every communication, offer, counter offer.
    • Provide your service to OR avail service of other party on the basis of a written agreement that clearly defines the service and dictates the terms, conditions and compensation of service.
  2. Legalities
    • Do not deal with individuals or entities not authorized by legitimate licensing authority &/or authorized by the government of Bahrain to conduct the said real estate business.
    • Do not conduct real estate activity for which individual or entity are not licensed or authorized to conduct
    • Do not extent service to individual or entity not qualifying under their respective user class
  3. Users
    • Declare your true association to the industry/property
    • Do not act as owner if you are not. Conduct yourself as who or what you are.
    • Be transparent about your role and responsibilities.
    • Do not provide false information about yourself to others on this platform.
  4. Listings
    • Accurate listing information should be recorded in mlsBH
    • Do not fabricate information
    • Do not manipulate facts.
  5. Communication
    • Uphold your professional values, not personal preferences with dealing with other party on this platform.
    • Do not let your ego dictate your actions or reactions, irrespective of the other party’s behavior.
    • Educate other party of the right way of conducting business instead of ignoring, abusing or misleading.
  6. Usage
    • Update your personal & official information as and when it changes
    • Keep your property information up-to-date
    • Do not access the site if your association with the industry has ended before the expiry of any subscription you may have yourself or extended to your from your employer.
    • Report any misuse or illegal use of service that you may know of, see or hear of.
